Honoring a legacy as David Such retires.

Honoring a legacy as David Such retires.

Change is a fact of life. Yet, some changes are felt so much more deeply than others.

This is one of those changes.

David is retiring.

Every bit of his 40 years in this community has been dedicated to making a difference. David Such — our friend, colleague, mentor, favorite artist and original namesake — has had a tremendous influence on the creative, social and artistic fabric that weaves our community together. His compassion and talents have inspired a deep bench of artists, fed thousands, and helped transform a long-forgotten neighborhood into a vibrant destination.

While there is much to celebrate about David’s commitment to his community and his work, this transition is, of course, bittersweet. Our team will miss David’s hilarious stories from the past, witty humor, and passion for the Beatles, but we will proudly and humbly carry on the legacy and values he has modeled.

David will continue his many artistic pursuits in the area. People interested in following along should go to DASuch.com for updates.

As always, Render is deeply committed to quality work — a commitment that simply will not change. Karen will lead the Render team into its next chapter.
